South Korea Stock Exchange or the Korea Exchange (KRX) is the only securities exchange located in South Korea. It is headquartered in Busan, and has an office for cash markets and market oversight in Seoul.
It was created in January 2005 through the integration of Korea Stock Exchange, Korea Futures Exchange and KOSDAQ Stock Market under the Korea Stock & Futures Exchange Act.
KOSPI, KOSDAQ and KRX 100 are the three main indices of the South Korea Stock Exchange.

As of March 2016, more than 2000 companies are listed on the exchange and the market capitalization of the exchange stood at US $1.28 Trillion, making it the 14th largest stock exchange in the world in terms of market capitalization.
